We have in our house what we call "Tufting Season". It happens early spring and late fall every year. The dog stands up, and 15 cotton balls fall off her butt. This year we broke down and bought a Furminator.
Holy cow. That thing works miracles. Let me prove it:
Here is Jenn working the Furminator's magic on Minne--Minne even appears to be enjoying it:
Here is what is left behind in the Furminators wake (note the small pile of cat hair on top)
For comparisons sake-Minne and the Pile:
Maybe we will no longer have to devote a third of our paychecks to the lint roller fund!

Ahhh, yes!! The Furminator is a necessity in our house!!
I've heard too much about those things. I must have one now.
And your dog is a cutie!
OMG! Where was this with our last dog? Her hair was an extra dimension of space!
And thanks for thinking of me!
Kirsten MUST have one of these now. See what you've done?
I love this thing! It even works great with my short haired girl because it got rid of those ridiculous hairs that would never come off the couch!
i need something like that for my legs....damn that thing works good!
Wow! That's amazing!! I would totally buy one of these, but I think my dog would freak out and refuse to let me near him with it. (He's a big chicken like that.) :)
That thing is fantastic, I must have one! My labrador gets those chunky bits coming off his butt, and the rotty isn't much better. The border collie HATES being brushed but needs it.
OMG> I thought that second picture was all that was left of MINNE!
That thing is awesome! Our problem is that when The Boy's coat grows too fluffy, he starts shedding big clumps. I bet the Furminator would help.
Hola from NCLM!
I love this thing! It is so worth the money. My beagle sheds like no tomorrow & usually leaves hair everywhere he steps, but with the Furminator that doesn't happen anymore! (sounded like a commercial, huh?) :)
Cute dog!!!!
